Anna’s story
Anna has early onset dementia and has been with Maxlife Care since 2023. Watch this video to hear what Anna’s husband and her support team have to say about Anna’s progress with us.
Justin’s journey
Since 2022, we have had the privilege of providing care to Justin, who came to us with complex care needs. Justin was bedbound, relying on a tracheostomy for his breathing and being under the constant supervision from nurses and doctors in a hospital setting to manage tracheostomy care, supra pubic catheter, PEG feeding management, wound management, complex bowel care and personal care.
Maxlife Care got involved in his care, both in the hospital and during the subsequent transition to a home setting, led by our in-house Nurse Practitioner. With in-house medical and clinical professionals readily available, Justin has always had access to clinical support, ensuring his safety during emergencies and critical moments.
Under our comprehensive care, Justin began to experience gradual improvements in his health. With Maxlife Care’s collaboration with RNS Hospital, and allied health specialists (OT, speech therapists), he steadily progressed to being able to sit upright in a wheelchair and on his bed, a testament to his determination and his unwavering spirit.

We take pride in providing personalised care that extends beyond the confines of medical facilities. Our highly skilled disability support worker care team takes Justin out into the community for acupuncture sessions, and he had the first cafe outing with his wife in years.
With his increasing stability and remarkable progress, we achieved a significant milestone: the successful decannulation of his tracheostomy. This monumental achievement allowed him to swallow fluids and transition to a puree diet.
Recently, we celebrated a joyous occasion when Justin turned 39 years old, surrounded by his loved ones. It was a moment filled with happiness and gratitude, as he was finally able to reunite with his four-year-old son. We cherish these heartwarming moments and are honored to have played a role in reuniting this family.
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Justin’s family, whose unwavering support, perseverance, and trust in Maxlife Care have been instrumental in this transformative journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and continue to provide the highest quality care for their loved one.
